TV Review: Tiger King

This was TV show #7/20 that I watched for my 20 for 2020 challenge. This series was released on Netflix on March 20, 2020.

This was a crazy ride. I decided to watch this because I had heard so many people talking about it on the internet. I didn't know what to expect, but I don't think there's anyway to predict what is going to happen in this show. I think the subject matter is so interesting, the people involved are such characters and the story is all told in such a good way.

I think the pacing of the episodes was spot on. There were no dull episodes, and it wasn't rushed. It was the perfect amount of content for each episode. And most episodes ended with a cliffhanger that I just had to see what happened next. It started out pretty hilarious, but by the end just got super depressing. It's been great to see all of the quality memes that have resulted from the show.

I also really appreciate that the show seemed really impartial. They included viewpoints from most of the participants in the show. They showed the skeletons in everyone's closet. The filmmaker probably spent the most time with Joe Exotic, but wasn't afraid to show all of the things that made him look bad and guilty. Not only did it make it more interesting to see how complex all these people and their stories are, I also just found the storytelling to be so honest and respectable. The whole show was just all around well done. I would recommend everyone to watch this.

I would give this show a 7.5/10. Have you seen this show? Let me know your thoughts down below.
