At this point I should have finished 12 of each category. I've been finished with albums for awhile now. I am almost caught up with movies (I have watched 11). I'm ahead with TV shows (I have watched 16). I'm behind with books (I have read 9).
I post reviews for all 2020 releases, so below is a discussion of anything non-2020 that I want to mention and talk about.
The Court Jester:
This movie is so underrated. This is a rewatch for me, I grew up with this movie and used to watch it all the time. It never disappoints. The music is so good, the cast is great, the comedy is still so funny. It's a pretty genius plot in my opinion. This movie is so underrated. I never hear anyone talk about it and I really recommend for people to give it a chance. especially if you like musicals and/or old movies.
The Kissing Booth:
I really liked this movie. I thought it was a super cute little teen romantic comedy. I really like the three main actors. I mentioned this in my review for The Kissing Booth 2, but I like that these movies don't use the over-used trope where the best friend is secretly in love with the other best friend. There were some moments that really made me laugh as well.
Now for my monthly favorites (in no particular order):
The Kissing Booth
The Witch Elm
Hamilton
Riverdale
The Great
Homecoming
I really had a lot of favorites this month. I watched a lot of great things this month.
That's it for my July recap! If you have any thoughts on anything I discussed above, please let me know down in the comments!
