Album Review: Kid Krow | Conan Gray

This is Album #22/20 that I listened to for my 2020 challenge. I listened to this album 8 times for my review.
Here are some quick stats about Kid Krow by Conan Gray:
I love this album! Every song is so good. My favorites were "Comfort Crowd," "Maniac," "Little League." It was so easy for me to connect to this album. Literally every song is such a bop.
I do have to say that to some the album in general may sound like basic, Gen-Z, indie-girl type of music. But I think it's some of the best out there. Also since he writes all his music, it just means he's a really good writer. He knows what the people want and he knows what works. I think his lyrics are really good as well. I think they're very deep, clever and have really good messages behind them. I definitely related to this album so much.
Conan wrote a little over half of the songs by himself. The other songs were written by him with one or two other writers. When someone is capable of both writing and performing the songs by themselves I think that's just so incredible and commendable. And especially when it's someone so young, and ALL of the songs are so good?? It's just amazing.
Listen or don't listen? Listen. I love this album! I definitely would recommend people to give this album a chance. It's Indie Pop which is a safe genre that can be enjoyed by most people. It's all so catchy that I think everyone will easily be able to enjoy it.
Buy or don't buy? Buy. Every song on this album is great. It's all catchy, it has a great message and Conan plays a big role in the entire album. I think it's important to support an artist like this that is responsible for so many bops. I want him to continue to make music so I would really suggest everyone who likes this album to go out and buy it!
I love this album! I will definitely continue listening to this album in full. I'll definitely be going back to listen to his EP. And I definitely will be supporting him and watching out for him in the future. He's so young and so talented, and I know he has a long career ahead of him. I'd give this album a 9/10.
