Album Review: Cuz I Love You (Deluxe) by Lizzo

As part of my research into the 2019 Grammy's Album of the Year category, I listened to each nominated album 5 times in order to evaluate my own ranking.

I love this album! All the songs are so catchy. Lizzo is a really talented singer and performer. Pretty much from the first listen I was hooked. I don't really have many notes because every track is just perfection. And i would just always have a good time listening.

My favorite is "Juice." There aren't any songs on the album that I dislike.

Lizzo is listed as a writer on all of the songs on the album. But most of the songs have 3-5 writers. So I tend to doubt the amount of influence the main artist could have had. I'm a little disappointed, I thought she would be more of a primary influence on the writing. None of the songs were produced by her. It doesn't seem like she's playing any instruments on any of the recordings either.

I don't have much to say. I just thought this album was perfect. I'm so happy for Lizzo's success and I can't wait to see what else she puts out. I will always continue to listen to this album.
