Movie Review: Dangerous Lies

This was movie #5/20 (#14 overall) that I watched for my 20 for 2020 Challenge. This movie was released on Netflix on April 30, 2020.

I don't have much to say about this one. It was just completely bad and forgettable. It felt like a classic, bad, over-dramatic and convoluted Lifetime movie. I do love watching these kinds of Lifetime movies, but this one was a little forgettable I think.

I decided to watch this because I'm trying to catch up on more 2020 movies and this is one of the only ones that seemed even semi-interesting. I watch Riverdale, so am a fan of Camila Mendes, which was a main draw for why I decided to watch this movie.

The characters were annoying and would make really stupid decisions. The plot was a little boring for me and the twist was (of course) extremely convoluted.

This movie definitely was not trying to be a good movie. It was obvious that it was going for that Lifetime bad movie vibe, but something about this movie just wasn't quite bad enough that it's good. I'd probably give this a 4/10. It was a little forgettable. Have you seen this movie? Please let me know your thoughts down below.
